Anti-drug awareness seminar

Anti-Drug Awareness Seminar        On 20th November 2024, our college hosted an Anti-Drug Awareness Seminar, which was both enlightening and impactful. We had the privilege of learning from Miss Saranya, a social worker from the government hospital, who shared real-life experiences and shocking statistics about drug abuse. The session gave us a deep understanding of its dangers and consequences, leaving a lasting impact on all of us. Challenges:      Some of the images shown were truly disturbing, making me feel uneasy. However, they reflected harsh realities that we must acknowledge rather than ignore. This session was a reinforcing the need to stay informed and spread awareness to build a drug-free society.

Police Akka Scheme

Police Akka Scheme   Our college recently hosted a program conducted by the police department to introduce the Police Akka initiative. Under this scheme, every college is assigned a lady police officer to support and guide students. For our college, Mrs. Jancy was appointed as our Police Akka. She delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging us to voice our concerns without fear. Challenges:      Rather than facing challenges, I gained immense confidence from her speech. Her presence and encouragement made me feel empowered, eliminated my fear.

Art and Drama        On 15th November 2024, our team performed a drama on COVID-19. It was a good experience, reminding me of my childhood acting days. With great teamwork and coordination, our performance connected well with the audience, boosting our confidence and helping overcome stage fear. Challenges:       While I didn’t face personal challenges, stage arrangements took time and effort. Ensuring everything was set up properly required teamwork and patience.
