Holding my lesson plan tightly, I walked into the classroom with a hopeful smile. The students looked at me with curiosity, and that moment itself gave me a sense of responsibility. While observing the class, understanding each student’s behaviour, and interacting with them, I felt more confident about my role. The mentor teacher guided me kindly, which made the day even smoother. I realized that teaching is not just delivering lessons—it is understanding children, connecting with them, and learning from them every single moment. My first day ended with a deep feeling of satisfaction and the hope that the days ahead would help me grow into a better teacher.
