It is owned, managed, and controlled by one single person. ✔ Simple Meaning       A business run by one person is called a sole proprietorship. ✔ Key Features        Single owner – one person invests the money and runs the business.        Easy to start – no complicated legal procedures.       Owner gets all the profit – but also bears all losses.       Common in small shops like tea stalls, grocery, stores, tailoring shops, mobile repair shops, etc. ✔ Example     A small kirana shop run by one person in your area is a sole proprietorship.

          Diwali – The Festival of Light         Diwali, also called Deepavali, is one of the most joyful and colourful festivals celebrated in India. The word Deepavali means “a row of lamps,” and the festival truly lives up to its name. Homes, streets, and temples glow with earthen lamps, candles, and decorative lights that spread warmth and happiness everywhere.       This festival marks the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. People clean and decorate their houses, draw rangoli at the entrance, and wear new clothes to welcome positivity into their lives. Families come together to offer prayers, share sweets, and enjoy beautiful fireworks.       Diwali is also a time for giving and sharing. My First Day of Taking a Lesson My first day of taking a lesson in school was a memorable and emotional experience. Before entering the classroom, I felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness, wondering how the students would respond to me. With my lesson plan in hand and my mentor’s encouragement in mind, I walked inside with a confident smile. The children looked at me eagerly, and their curious faces gave me the courage I needed. As I began the lesson, my voice trembled a little, but gradually I became more comfortable. The students answered my questions, participated actively, and showed real interest in the topic, which boosted my confidence. I also used questioning, examples, and gestures just as I had practiced during micro-teaching. By the end of the class, the nervousness I had carried disappeared completely.
