VIVEKANANDA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

Culturals held in our college for 3 days. It was a great experience. I joined in many competition and won prizes. I enjoyed these three days. It helped to enhance my extra-curricular activities. 

We have celebrated muthamizh Vizha on 28th April.  It was so good. Dance and drama  were performed. I personally enjoyed drama. I got prize for essay writing competition. Quiz questions were asked I answered for 5 questions. I enjoyed thoroughly. 

Literary day celebrated on 25th April. The chief guest was my English teacher who taught me during my undergraduate studies. He handled the session with great enthusiasm and made it fun-filled. Dance and drama performed by the students. Fun games were conducted. I enjoyed well. 

Challenges:       I took lot of time to draw with picture. Selecting colors for the picture is somewhat challenging. Its only because I have not used to draw like. But when I started drawing, it created intereet. . 

      One billion youth for peace movement is a peace pledge program conducted on 24th April. The coordinator of this movement spoke about this movement and we have taken a peace pledge. Peace is really important for our day to day life.

On 17th April we have celebrated sports day in our college. It was a great experience. Many group games and individual games were conducted. I have taken part in throw ball match, long jump and dance. We let the balloon fly. O enjoyed well.

    On 16th april  anti drug awareness programme has been held in our college. Our Tamil sir has said about the effects of drug and how it spoils one's life. 

On 16th april Mrs. Santha kumari inspector of police and her team visited our college and spoke about POCSO rules and regulations. And she had given real life example of people. They have also spoken about road safety. We got great awareness.
