         Dhruvswamini - Jaishankar Prasad

It was a rare story in hindi which speaks about women empowerment and courage of women. Every women should be courageous and face injustice.
Dhruvswamini, a proud and dignified queen, is married to King Ramgupt, a cowardly ruler who values his throne more than his wife’s honor.
When the enemy Shaka King demands that Dhruvswamini be sent to him as part of a peace treaty, Ramgupt agrees—shocking everyone. But Dhruvswamini bravely refuses, saying she is not a thing to be traded.
To protect her, Chandragupt, the king’s younger brother and a brave warrior, disguises himself and kills the enemy king, saving Dhruvswamini.
Back in Ujjaini, instead of returning to Ramgupt, Dhruvswamini publicly denounces him for his cowardice and betrayal. She declares that a woman deserves respect, not sacrifice in the name of politics.
In the end, Ramgupt is overthrown, and Chandragupt becomes king. Dhruvswamini, who once loved Chandragupt, finally gets a chance to live a life of self-respect and love, not forced duty.
